Neon Pastoral

Oil and acrylic on canvas · 100 × 100 cm

Neon Pastoral imagines fields glimpsed from a night train — green slopes under a sun that glows lime instead of gold. Two dark festival tents anchor the scene, small reminders of the crowds just out of frame.

The painting pairs the oldest subject in the book, the landscape, with the newest light in the studio, the neon tube.
